The Development and Economic Cooperation Office (KEİ) of the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa is providing ₺20m in Entrepreneurship Support to businesses.

The Development and Economic Cooperation Office of the Türkiye Embassy in Lefkoşa is providing ₺20m financial support to an entrepreneurship project in cooperation with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Prime Ministry.

Targeting TRNC citizens born in 1987 and after, the project aims to provide training, consultancy and grant support on entrepreneurship and business establishments.

Applications will be accepted online from January 24-March 11, 2024.

According to the statement issued by KEİ, 3 main areas titled “Technology and innovative business ideas”, “Traditional business ideas” and “Business ideas that will add value to the TRNC economy, export-oriented and high brand value” were determined in the project.

The maximum support for “Technology and innovative business ideas” is 75 percent, maximum ₺750,000; the maximum support for “Traditional business ideas” is 75 percent, maximum ₺500,000; the maximum support for “Business ideas that will add value to the TRNC economy, export-oriented and high brand value” is 75 percent, maximum ₺2m.

This entrepreneurship project will be carried out under the coordination of the Turkish Cypriot Investment Development Agency with the financing provided by the KEİ Office of the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa and the training sponsorship of Türk Bank.
