Prime Minister Ünal Üstel took part on a live program on BRT today and addressed a variety of issues that are on the agenda.

He touched upon the economic problems that have hampered the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and noted that the TRNC together with motherland Türkiye have signed an Economic and Financial Protocol in order to improve the economy in the country and ease the hardships of the people.

He said that the pandemic played a major role in the economic hardships of the country but emphasized that the whole world has been affected and that as the TRNC government they are doing all they can to find solutions to these problems.

He promised that as the government they will be working hard to overcome all the economic problems experienced in the country and will be working to improve the buying power of the public.
