Health Minister Ali Pilli announced 14 new COVID-19 cases in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on Wednesday, following 1,446 diagnostic tests carried out.
Pilli said that seven of the individuals who tested positive arrived into the country via air, five via ferry and two of the cases were through local transmission.
Three people have recovered and have been discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, South Cyprus reported 198 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours after conducting 7,049 tests.
A 74 year old patient also died from the virus.
