The 1st International Beyarmudu Children’s Festival is taking place today.
Folk Dance groups from the TRNC, Türkiye, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Poland and Kyrgyzstan are taking part in the festival organised jointly by the Beyarmudu Muncipality and FOGEM.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the Mayor of Beyarmudu Bülent Bebek said that they were happy to be organising the event which they hoped will become a long-standing tradition.
In addition to various festivities and stands set up at the town square, folk dance shows will take place at the Beyarmudu South Mesaria Social Facilities at 7:30pm.
A cortege will also take place at 6:30pm.
