The 3rd International Güzelyurt Art Meeting organized by the Güzelyurt Municipality, has begun.
The works created during the event, which will continue for a week, will be presented to the appreciation of art lovers on July 27.
Art enthusiasts are gathering at the 3rd International Güzelyurt Art Meeting event organised by the Güzelyurt Municipality.
A total of 17 artists from Türkiye, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Iran are participating in the art gathering event, which will continue for a week at the Güzelyurt Atatürk Cultural Centre.
Speaking to BRT about the event, Güzelyurt Mayor Mahmut Özçınar noted that they are happy to host such an event in Güzelyurt.
Özçınar underlined that as the municipality, they attach importance to culture and art events and will continue to support art and artists in the future as well.
Dr. Arif Albayrak, who is the curator of the event, stated that the organisation has become a brand.
“The Güzelyurt Art Meeting makes a tremendous impact abroad and contributes to the promotion of Güzelyurt,” said Albayrak.
The works of art created during the event will be presented to art lovers with an exhibition to be opened at the Güzelyurt Municipality Exhibition Hall on July 27 at 6pm.
