The 41st anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will be celebrated enthusiastically across the country.
The ceremonies will begin with a speech by President Ersin Tatar on Thursday at 12pm from the BRT, followed by a 21-gun salute.
Ceremonies will be held at the Dr. Fazıl Küçük Mausoleum and Rauf Raif Denktaş Mausoleum.
President Ersin Tatar will receive congratulations at the Presidency on the morning of November 15, Friday.
A wreath will then be laid at the Atatürk Monument in Lefkoşa.
The official parade on Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard will start at 10am with the National Anthem, inspection of the ceremonial units, and the celebration of the people’s holiday.
After exchanging messages, the flags brought from Lefke and Erenköy will be presented to President Ersin Tatar.
The ceremony will continue with speeches by President Ersin Tatar and Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, concluding with an official parade.
At 3:30pm, a Solo Türk air show will take place in front of the Atatürk Monument in Girne.
A cortege will take place at Girne between 2pm-4:30 pm.
In the evening, President Ersin Tatar will host a reception at the presidential palace at 6:30pm.
Ceremonies will also be held in other districts and towns to mark the 41st anniversary of the founding of the TRNC.
Meanwhile, as part of the 41st anniversary of the founding of the TRNC on November 15, warships from the Turkish Naval Forces Command are arriving in the republic.
The TCG Atak (P-337), TCG Gür (S-357), TCG Bartın (F-504), and TCG Bora (P-338) vessels from the Turkish navy will dock at TRNC ports.
On Friday, November 15, the TCG Atak Fast Attack Craft (P-337) and TCG Gür Submarine (S-357) will be open to the public at Girne Port from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.
Meanwhile, the TCG Bartın Patrol Ship (F-504) and TCG Bora Fast Attack Craft (P-338) will be open for public visits at Gazimağusa Port during the same hours.
