Six soldiers died when a military helicopter crashed during a training flight in Isparta province of Türkiye.
Messages of condolences were issued to Türkiye by state and government officials in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Two military helicopters collided during a training flight in Isparta in southwestern Türkiye, causing one to crash into an empty field.
In the accident, Isparta Army Aviation School Commander Brigadier General Isa Baydilli and five personnel were killed.
President Ersin Tatar in his message wished God’s mercy to the soldiers who were martyred in the helicopter crash in Isparta and patience to their families and the Turkish Armed Forces.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel in his message also expressed his condolences for the loss of the soldiers who were martyred as a result of the crash of the military helicopter in Keçiborlu district of Isparta.
“I express my condolences and patience to their bereaved families, the Republic of Türkiye and the Land Aviation School,” wrote Üstel via his social media account.
