The 6^th Doğancı Watermelon, Culture and Arts Festival is taking place.

The festival was initially set to take place between the 1^st and 4^th of September had been postponed.

According to a statement made by the Doğancı Development Association, the 6^th Doğancı Watermelon, Culture and Arts Festival will be held from September 5-7.

The festival is being hosted by the Doğancı Development Association with contributions from the Lefke Municipality, the main sponsor being Alpcans and supported by the Doğancı Cooperative Credit Co.

Throughout the festival many concerts and performances will take place.

On Tuesday, September 5^th, Niyal Öztürk and Atina Malta will perform, on Wednesday, September 6^th, the Lefkoşa Municipality Orchestra’s “Yeşilçam Film Music” concert will be given and “Time Travel in Elye” fashion show will be realized.

On Thursday, September 7^th, concerts will be given by the Cyprus Music Travellers group and Meryem Yurdaer and by Ahmet Evan.
