Green Line Trade Week has started.

On the occasion of the week, the first event was held in Lefkoşa at Ledra Palace in the buffer zone.

According to the information provided by the European Union Information Centre, the Green Line Trade Week, organized with the support of the EU, has begun.

The first event of the week that was held in Lefkoşa at Ledra Palace in the buffer zone, started with opening speeches by Jutta Pomoell-Segurola, Head of the Cyprus Solution Support Unit of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Reform, Andreas Andreou, Director of Industrial Development, Innovation and Environment of the Greek Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mustafa Ergüven, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.

The event included a presentation on the new B2B matchmaking feature of the EU One Stop Shop Service Point webpage and an interactive panel discussion where small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) shared their experiences.

As part of Green Line Trade Week, an information session will be held at the Aphrodite Beachfront Hotel in Gaziveren, aiming to encourage the establishment of business partnerships between the two communities to enable businesses to effectively understand and utilize the tools related to Green Line trade.
