Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Yasin Ekrem Serim has announced that “Turkish Cypriots will be connected with the e-Government Portal mobile application soon.”

Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa, Yasin Ekrem Serim, made an announcement via his social media account, giving the good news that the e-Government Portal mobile application will be launched soon.

“As the Republic of Türkiye, we have provided approximately 779 million Turkish Lira in support to share the advanced level of digitalization we have reached with our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters. With the digitalization of the public institutions and organizations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), we have shared with our valuable mayor that time and resource savings will be achieved in public services” Serim said.

“Together with the TRNC government and relevant institutions, we are implementing digitalization projects in a wide range of areas, from population and citizenship services to customs transactions, from hospital appointments to consular services” he added.

“We believe that by bringing our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters together with modern, user-friendly, and effective digital opportunities that they deserve, their daily lives will be noticeably improved. I would also like to share the good news with you that, in the near future, we will be connecting our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters with the e-Government Portal mobile application” Ambassador Serim stressed.
