Üstel: We will not give up the struggle until justice is served

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel stated that the pain of the Champion Angels and other citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in Türkiye February 6, 2023 will never subside.

Üstel also emphasized that there will be no step back until justice is served.

On the second anniversary of the February 6 earthquake, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel issued a message voicing his deep grief and unwavering commitment to seeking justice for the victims.

The Premier mourned the loss of those who perished in the earthquake, particularly the children, young people, teachers, and parents who were trapped under the rubble of the Isias Hotel in Adıyaman.

He emphasized the need to remember and honor their memory, promising that their names will live on in sports halls, schools and in the hearts of the people.

He assured the affected families that their pain is shared and that their cry for justice will not be ignored.

Üstel called for unity in preserving the memory of the victims, stating that it is the responsibility of both the government and the opposition to ensure they are not forgotten.

“They were not just athletes, they were heroes. It is the duty of all of us, in power and opposition, to keep their memory alive and ensure that they are not forgotten” said Üstel.

The Prime Minister concluded his message by extending his condolences to all who lost their lives and offering support to those still carrying the pain of the tragedy.
