Prime Minister Ünal Üstel thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their support for the Turkish Cypriot people.

Making a statement via his social media account, Prime Minister Üstel said “We consider the support of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Turkish Cypriot People during the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad as a historic step towards our integration with the outside world.

On this occasion, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Erdoğan and Mr. Sharif on behalf of my people and my government.”
