Decisions on the appointments of ambassadors and representatives were published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, Mehmet Ali Keleş was appointed as the Education Attaché at the Ankara Embassy and Murat Soysal was appointed as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) New York Representative.

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, Mehmet Ali Keleş, who had been serving as the School Principal at Şehit Menteş Zorba Primary School under the Directorate of the Primary Education Department of the Ministry of National Education, will serve as the Education Attaché of the Embassy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Ankara.

On the other hand, Foreign Affairs Department Director Murat Soysal was appointed as the Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in New York.

Soysal’s appointment will be effective as of August 1.
