
The “2025 Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” is being signed today.
After attending the Cyprus summit in Geneva, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel travelled to Ankara and continues his meetings there.
As part of his contacts, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel met with Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change Murat Kurum, and Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç on Thursday.
Prime Minister Üstel who met with Turkish Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya on Friday morning will also hold talks with Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz.
Following the meeting, the “2025 Economic and Financial Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” will be signed.
The agreement, to be signed by Üstel and Yılmaz, will be formalized at a ceremony held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara at 2:30pm.
