The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) plans to realize new projects in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Firuz Bağlıkaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association said that they aim to increase diversity in tourism with new projects such as the Island Cyprus project.

Türkiye ranks among the leading countries of the world with the breakthroughs it has made in tourism in recent years, the income it has achieved and the number of tourists that have visited the country.

Tourism agencies aiming to introduce new routes in tourism, which contributes significantly to the economy, predict that revenues will reach the targeted figures this year.

Firuz Bağlıkaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, told Anadolu Agency correspondent that Türkiye ranks among the top countries in the world in tourism and that they are ready to fulfill their responsibilities as a sector to make this success sustainable.

Talking about the new project that TÜRSAB will realize in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Firuz Bağlıkaya said, “We aim to increase diversity in tourism with new projects such as the Island Cyprus project. TRNC, which is known for very specific products, is actually a very nice family vacation destination. We will organize a program with 250 travel agencies for the promotion of the TRNC.”
