The Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival – TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 will be held from May 1 to May 4 at the former Ercan Airport, under the auspices of the Presidency of the TRNC.

In his statement, President Ersin Tatar stressed that the festival would significantly contribute to the promotion of the country, while also serving as a source of inspiration and motivation for the Turkish Cypriot people.

“TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025”, organized in collaboration with the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, will take place at the former Ercan Airport.

President Tatar expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Board of Baykar, Technology Leader, and Chairman of the T3 Foundation, Selçuk Bayraktar, for organizing the event in the TRNC.

He highlighted that the festival would support the national cause of the Turkish Cypriots and boost international recognition of the country.

Speaking about the importance of advancing technology, science, and innovation, the President stressed that Turkish youth are highly creative and capable of developing new ideas and projects.

Tatar also announced that over 750 projects from Türkiye and various other countries will participate in TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025, with approximately 150 projects from the TRNC set to take part in the festival.

President Ersin Tatar stressed that the festival would play a crucial role in the coming years by motivating young people and encouraging them to develop new projects.

As part of TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025, competitions will be held in 7 main categories and 14 subcategories, offering a total of 2.5 million TL in prizes and 3 million TL in financial support to participants.

For the first time, the festival will introduce new competitions that will bring innovations to the world of technology.

In addition to the competitions, the event will feature aerial shows, virtual reality tunnels, simulation experiences, concerts, and special flight activities for students.

Aimed at increasing young people’s interest in technology and supporting national technology production, TEKNOFEST TRNC 2025 will provide participants with an opportunity to showcase their projects while also serving as an inspiration for those looking to advance technology further.
