
The unseasonably warm weather in the TRNC is set to give way to cooler, rainy conditions during Ramadan Bayram, according to meteorological forecasts.
On March 30, the first day of Bayram, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with showers or thunderstorms.
On the second day, light showers are anticipated in some areas.
According to the Meteorology Department’s weekly weather forecast covering March 27 to April 2, the region will be under the influence of a low-pressure system.
The first two days will be cool and humid, while the rest of the period will bring colder and humid air masses.
Until Friday, March 28, the weather will be partly cloudy with patchy morning fog.
On Saturday, it will be mostly clear in the morning, becoming partly cloudy with light showers in some areas by midday.
On Sunday, March 30, the first day of Ramadan Bayram, conditions will be partly cloudy with showers or thunderstorms.
Monday will see partly cloudy skies with occasional light showers, while the rest of the week is expected to remain partly cloudy.
Temperatures will be between 28-31°C in inland areas during the first two days of the period, dropping to around 20-23°C in both inland and coastal areas for the remainder of the week.
