Prime Minister Ünal Üstel made important statements during an event he attended.

He emphasized that the government is working—and will continue to work—to ensure that women take a more active role in production, and announced that significant initiatives have been undertaken to prevent young people from becoming disconnected from their country.

Prime Minister Ünal Üstel delivered important messages regarding the government’s work during the Serdarlı Sestaları Festival he attended on Sunday.

Pointing out that they were working for the people from the day they took office, Prime Minister Üstel stated that they have been striving to move the public forward.

Recalling that they had taken initiatives to ensure that entrepreneurial women can continue their production, Üstel emphasized that the government will fully cover the social security premiums for women, regardless of the sector they work in.

He also mentioned that they have prepared a long-term credit package for women who want to start new businesses and that it will be announced in the coming days.

“It will be in Turkish Lira and long-term. The government will cover the interest rate difference,” he said.

Also noting that they have launched a new initiative this year to especially prevent young people from leaving the country, Üstel said that they government will cover 80% of their social security premiums, regardless of the sector they work in.

He reminded that they have implemented the “My First Home” credit program to help young people stay in the country and in their regions, and that they have started implementing social housing projects as well.

Üstel also mentioned that they are working to prevent young people from moving away from their hometowns, stating that they have started distributing rural land plots and will continue to do so.

He added that there are conditions preventing young people who receive rural land from transferring their plots, and that they will offer long-term credit opportunities to help them build their homes.
