
The Meteorology Department has announced that the country is currently under the influence of a cool and damp air mass, with occasional rain expected in the coming days.
A drop in temperatures of up to 4°C is forecast, and strong winds are expected to begin from Wednesday onward.
According to the April 8–14 weather report, the region will remain under the influence of a low-pressure system combined with a cool and moist air mass.
Today’s weather will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers expected before noon.
Wednesday and Thursday will see partly cloudy skies with occasional light showers.
From Friday into early next week, skies are forecast to remain mostly clear.
For the first two days of the forecast period, daytime temperatures will reach between 22°C and 25°C in inland and coastal areas, before dropping to 18°C–21°C later in the week.
Winds will generally blow from the north and west, ranging from moderate to strong.
From Wednesday to Friday, winds are expected to strengthen further, at times reaching storm-force levels.
