The 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which hosted over 6,000 participants from 155 countries, concluded yesterday, marking another milestone in Türkiye’s global diplomatic outreach.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan delivered the closing speech, addressing key regional and international developments, including the Eastern Mediterranean dynamics, Gaza, Syria, and Ukraine.

In his remarks, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasized that the forum successfully brought together key actors from conflict zones spanning from the Black Sea to the Middle East, Africa, and the Balkans.

He underlined the importance of dialogue and collective wisdom in conflict resolution, noting that these are essential for sustainable peace in today’s increasingly polarized world.

Fidan condemned the ongoing massacre in Gaza, stating that the genocide will likely continue as long as support from Europe and the United States persists.

He also reaffirmed Türkiye’s active role in supporting all constructive efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

Responding to questions from the press, Minister Fidan addressed the growing military and diplomatic ties between the Greek Cypriot Administration and Israel, as well as with several Western countries.

He stated that Türkiye is closely monitoring the evolving relationship dynamics in the Eastern Mediterranean.

“Some of these ties may be seen as part of normal bilateral relations between nation-states,” he said.

“However, others appear to be attempts to form a political, economic, and security front against Türkiye. We are closely following these developments and responding with appropriate warnings and diplomatic actions when necessary.”

Fidan also reiterated that Türkiye’s primary objective in Syria remains the establishment of security and stability in the region.
