
President Ersin Tatar, emphasizing the two-state policy, stated that they will make every effort for the peace, stability and prosperity of the Turkish Cypriot people.
Tatar made the statement while receiving the president and delegation of the Cyprus Turkish Bank, Trade and Office Workers Union (BANK-SEN).
President Ersin Tatar received Zübeyir Boransel, President of the Cyprus Turkish Bank, Trade and Office Workers Union (Bank-Sen), and the union’s board members.
During the meeting, President Tatar brought up the two-state policy, emphasizing that he has been a staunch advocate of it for the past four and a half years, with the full support of Türkiye.
Tatar stated that he has made significant efforts on every platform to make the voice of the Turkish Cypriots heard and despite all challenges, he underlined the importance of representing the Turkish Cypriots at the United Nations, the European Union and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
He stressed that on this determined path, every effort will be made for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the Turkish Cypriots and highlighted the need to work cooperatively on projects that benefit both peoples.
Bank-Sen President Zübeyir Boransel for his part expressed the union’s support for the two-state solution model.
