The Değermenlik-Akıncılar Municipality organized the Kalavaç Culture and Arts Festival on Sunday, where all Turkish Cypriot traditions and handicrafts were on display.

President Ersin Tatar, who attended the festival, stated that the festival, which was suspended during the pandemic period, started to be held again and congratulated the Değirmenlik-Akıncılar Municipality and those who contributed to the festival.

Stating that Kalavaç has been a Turkish village since the past, President Tatar emphasized the importance of passing on culture, art and traditions to future generations.

Explaining that there was great interest in the festival, Tatar thanked the artists who participated in the festival.
