
The leader of the National Unity Party (UBP) Prime Minister Ünal Üstel continued his visits to different areas, meeting with citizens in Karaoğlanoğlu, Alsancak, Lapta, and Dikmen.
During his visits, Üstel outlined the government’s achievements and listened to the expectations of the public.
In his speeches, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel emphasized the motto “We are not producing words, we are producing work,” stressing that they have been courageously implementing all necessary reforms and projects since taking office.
“Wherever you look in our country today, you will see the stamp of UBP,” he stated, reaffirming his government’s commitment to delivering equal service to every citizen and region.
Listing major projects, Üstel announced that the long-awaited Lapta-Çamlıbel and Girne-Çatalköy road projects would soon begin. Highlighting advances in healthcare, he declared 2025 as the “Year of Health,” with plans for the largest health initiative in TRNC history, including a new state hospital in Lefkoşa, the renovation of Lapta Health Centre, the opening of the New Akçiçek Hospital by year-end, the establishment of a Military Hospital in Girne, and a new modern health centre for Dikmen.
Addressing youth-oriented initiatives, Üstel stated that 2025 would also mark a turning point for young people.
He announced ongoing rural land distributions, the launch of social housing projects, and upcoming low-interest credit packages.
“We are opening the path for our youth not with slogans but with real projects,” he said.
On the sports front, Üstel highlighted the government’s contributions by establishing new football fields in Taşkent, Dağyolu, Pınarbaşı, and Boğaz villages, underscoring that “these facilities are entirely the work of our government, and the youth are rising with our projects.”
Concluding his remarks with the words, “While they keep talking, we continue working,” Üstel also inaugurated the newly renovated Dikmen UBP Organisation Building during his visit to the area.
