President Ersin Tatar reaffirmed that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is steadfast in its struggle, stressing that the challenges experienced within the TRNC do not obstruct the policy of a two-state solution or its current position.

President Tatar further stated, “As the Turkish Cypriot people within this vast region, our influence will continue to strengthen, and a future filled with peace will be ours.”

President Ersin Tatar took part in the 19th International Symposium on Turkish Culture, Art, and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.

Speaking at the event, President Tatar shared his delight at connecting with guests from across the Turkic world and addressing the younger generation.

He underscored the growing importance of solidarity within the Organization of Turkic States, emphasizing that, in the age of communication, stronger cooperation and closer ties are more essential than ever.

President Tatar remarked, “After overcoming many challenges, we will move forward even stronger, united by our common heritage — our language, our faith, our culture, our art, our literature, and our music. With this profound richness, we will stride into the future with confidence and strength.”

He emphasized that greater cooperation across the Turkic world would be achieved through the synchronization of the language and the unification of the alphabet.

He also highlighted that efforts are ongoing to strengthen ties in trade, culture, and the economy among Turkic states.

Referring to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s phrase ‘one nation, three states,’ President Tatar noted that the vision within the Organization of Turkic States is now expanding toward ‘one nation, seven states,’ aiming for an even stronger union.

He reaffirmed that despite the challenges faced by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), its determination remains unwavering.

Tatar stressed, “The difficulties we face in the TRNC do not obstruct our two-state solution policy or our current position. As the Turkish Cypriot people in this vast region, our influence will continue to grow, and a peaceful future will be ours.”
