The International Educational Sciences Forum organized by the Turkic World Education Network “eBilig” is being held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, the Association of Educational Administrators and Experts, the International Final University, and the Cyprus Turkish Entrepreneurial Women’s Association.
The forum is attended by educators from the TRNC, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan.
The Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu stated at the opening that many educators and teachers from the Turkic world and the TRNC would participate in sessions discussing the future of education.
Stressing that such gatherings were extremely valuable for bringing people together, Çavuşoğlu noted that for Turks to achieve the place they deserve in the world, they need to combine their strengths and knowledge.
He also and pointed out that the interest shown by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Turkic states had evolved into a strong unity.
President Tatar, for his part, stressed the importance of strengthening relations among Turkic states, highlighting the crucial role of education in advancing social, cultural, economic, and political ties.
Underlining the value of educators coming together for joint initiatives, the President noted that such efforts would contribute to shaping the future of the Turkic world.
Stressing the need for determination in efforts to realize the potential strength of Turkic unity, Tatar stated that with mutual support among over 200 million Turks in the Turkic World, a better position could be achieved.
Reminding that the TRNC held observer status in the Organization of Turkic States, he said “Our common struggle is for our independence and freedom. Collaborating in education is essential to crown these values. We will reach better places through the joint efforts of our successful people. Education means knowledge and science. We trust our educators.”
