Relations between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan continue to develop with every passing day.

Azerbaijan Sports Academy has launched a scholarship master’s degree program for the citizens of member and observer members of the Organization of Turkic States and in this context, citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will now be able to receive postgraduate education in Azerbaijan with scholarships.

Within the scope of the program called “Mergen”, citizens of member countries such as Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and observer countries Hungary, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkmenistan will be able to receive postgraduate education with scholarships at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.

Within the scope of the program, sports journalism, sports management, sports medicine and rehabilitation programs are available for study.

The courses will be taught in Azerbaijani Turkish and English languages and the education and living expenses of those who will be accepted to the program will be covered by the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.

Applications for the program, which will cover the years 2024-2027, can be made until July 31 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
