The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced the commencement of Direct Income Support account closure payments for 2024.

A total of ₺169.3m has been transferred to Cooperative Central Bank and Ziraat Bank for distribution to 8,246 producers.

According to the Ministry’s statement, farmers can collect their payments from the branches of the specified banks.

The Direct Income Support is allocated based on declarations for crops such as cereals, fodder plants, fallow land, citrus fruits, olives, carobs, almonds, pistachios, fruit trees, tropical fruits, edible legumes, oilseeds, vegetables, greenhouse produce, and spring potatoes.

Payments are made corresponding to “clean areas” of cultivation.
