The Deputy Prime Ministry-Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment has launched an “Aid mobilization” for the earthquake zone in Türkiye.

A statement issued by the Ministry’s press bureau said that efforts were underway to collect donations for earthquake survivors.

It said that the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu has instructed the Cooperative Registrar of Companies, the TRNC Development Bank, the Kıbrıs Vakıflar Bank, Şeker Insurance and the Cooperative Central Bank to mobilize to raise funds for the victims of the twin earthquake disaster.

According to the statement, in accordance with the notice issued by the Prime Ministry, the funds to be raised by institutions affiliated with the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment will be delivered to the authorities of the Republic of Türkiye through the TRNC Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
