The General Secretary of the Democrat Party (DP) Serhat Akpınar on Sunday joined worldwide condemnation of Sweden which allowed a politician to burn a copy of the Quran, under police protection in Stockholm.

In his social media post, he strongly condemned those who burned the Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy in Stockholm and those who laid their hands on our Holy Book.

“Swedish Authorities, who turned a blind eye to this action against the entire Islamic World, are officially in a delusion! I strongly condemn and curse them. We will continue to love what was created with the love of the almighty, rather than feeling hatred” Akpınar posted.
