The Minister of Health İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra has wished all doctors and nurses in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) a happy March 14 Medicine Day.

She pointed out that doctors and nurses worked selflessly and tirelessly to treat patients and protect the health of the public.

“Our doctors, nurses and health workers have been at the service of the public in the hardest of times, most recently during the pandemic and earthquake disaster. For this we are eternally grateful for their services,” Health Minister İzlem Gürçağ Altuğra said in her message issued to mark March 14 Medicine Day.

She added that her ministry was working round the clock not only to provide the best health service to the public but also to improve the health infrastructure of the country and working conditions of doctors and nurses.
