Ali Murat Başçeri, the newly appointed Ambassador of Türkiye to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), formally began his duties after presenting his credentials to President Ersin Tatar.

Following the official ceremony, Ambassador Başçeri expressed his honour in taking up this important role in the TRNC.

President Tatar welcomed Başçeri, stating his pleasure in seeing him once again in such a significant position.

The President also mentioned the importance of Başçeri’s support, especially as the TRNC prepares for the upcoming critical discussions in Geneva.

This is the second term Başçeri is serving as the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa.
