Ambassador Metin Feyzioğlu, who completed his term of office in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and was appointed to Prague, has departed from the island.

Ambassador Feyzioğlu published a farewell message and expressed his gratitude for the trust and support shown to him during his two-year term of office in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Issuing a farewell message upon his departure from the TRNC, Ambassador Feyzioğlu wrote, “If we were able to enter the hearts of the Turkish Cypriot people, this will be the greatest reward for me and my family.”

He continued to state that offices are temporary, yet entering people’s hearts is permanent and expressed his satisfaction for serving the national cause and the people of Cyprus without expecting anything in return.

Ambassador Feyzioğlu emphasized that he will keep the love for the homeland in his heart forever.
