Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu visited the landing ship used in the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation and exhibited as a museum at Yavuz Çıkarma Beach.

Ambassador Feyzioğlu shared the visit on his social media account.

Noting that no one can destroy Turkish presence in Cyprus, Feyzioğlu stressed that neither the Turkish Cypriots nor the total Turkish Nation will allow it.

He said “the children of Turkish soldiers and mujahids will forever keep both the Turkish states independent, free, sovereign and equal in Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).”

Noting that the whole world should know that the Greek Cypriots’ intention was to ignore and destroy the Turkish Cypriots, Feyzioğlu stated that they have never given up on this goal.

Noting that the guarantee of peace on this paradise island was the permanent presence of Türkiye and the Turkish Armed Forces, the Turkish Ambassador said “acknowledging the existence of two states with independent, sovereign and equal international status is the only way out.”
