An aid committee has been established for those who have been affected from the fire.

The Head of the Prime Ministry’s Disaster and Emergency Management Committee Hüseyin Cahitoğlu said that the Aid Committee was established by the Kıbrıs Vakıflar Foundation, the Civil Defence Organization, the İskele Municipality, the İskele District Governorate and the Tatlısu Municipality.

Explaining that those who have been affected from the fire can reach him via mobile number 0 533 863 20 89, Cahitoğlu said citizens who want to provide help can apply to the committee which was established by the Kıbrıs Vakıflar Foundation, the Civil Defence Organization, the İskele Municipality, the İskele District Governorate and the Tatlısu Municipality.

Noting that the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Committee consists of representatives from the Civil Defence Organization, the Security Forces Command, Police, the Cyprus Turkish Municipalities Union, the District Governorates, the Fire Department, the General Directorate of Forestry and the Meteorology Department, he said all units have been working in coordination since the fire broke out.
