The Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı issued a message to mark March 8 International Women’s Day.
In his message Arıklı said that the struggle must continue until full equality is achieved.
The Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı celebrated March 8 International Women’s Day by issuing a message that calls for equality for women.
“We celebrate a special day for women who represent the beauty and power on earth. On March 8, International Women’s Day, I salute their efforts, their resistance to difficulties and their strength to endure the most difficult situations” wrote Arıklı.
He stated that women took part in wars, worked for production and left their mark on history by playing an important role in raising generations.
“Today, while celebrating the rights that women have gained throughout history, we should not forget that there are still areas where women are still struggling. This struggle must continue until full equality is achieved. I salute all women who are at the forefront of the struggle for equality and justice and call on all to continue to move towards a brighter future together” wrote Arıklı while concluding his message.
