Ataoğlu attends panel discussion in Ankara, Türkiye

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu delivered a speech on Thursday at the “Turkic World Panel on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye” organized by the Kırıkkale University in Ankara.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, Ataoğlu, in his speech, explained the place of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in the Turkic World and the processes experienced by the Turkish Cypriots.

Noting that they are always ready to shoulder responsibility in order to protect their culture and transfer it to future generations, Ataoğlu said that they have many projects to do as a family of the Turkic World in the coming period.

Explaining that efforts are being made to reach a comprehensive, fair and sustainable solution to the Cyprus Problem, Ataoğlu said that their biggest supporter in this process is Motherland Türkiye.

Stating that despite all the efforts that have been made throughout the years a solution has not been reached on the Cyprus issue, Ataoğlu said that while the Turkish Cypriot people continue their efforts for a political solution, they are concentrating their efforts on economic development, increasing welfare and improving the quality of life in the TRNC.
