Ataoğlu issues message as İsias trial gets underway

A statement of support to the families of the Champions Angels has also come from the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, and the Leader of the Democrat Party (DP), Fikri Ataoğlu.

Ataoğlu issued a message on Wednesday as the trial of the 11 suspects held responsible for the collapsed İsias hotel in Adıyaman got underway on Wednesday.

“Our hearts are in Adıyaman,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, and the Leader of the Democratic Party, Fikri Ataoğlu, issued a message on Wednesday regarding the İsias Hotel Case.

“Our hearts are in Adıyaman. Today we preserve our faith and belief that justice will prevail and we maintain our trust in the rule of law. We believe that the necessary steps will be taken for justice to be served. We will need to be patient and remain united during this long and difficult process. We believe that this case should not be tried on the basis of conscious negligence but of intent. We expect all details to be meticulously examined for the emergence of a just decision. With our trust in the rule of law and without losing our faith in justice, I believe that everyone responsible will receive the punishment they deserve in accordance with the laws,” the deputy prime minister’s message read.
