Ataoğlu receives TÜRSAB delegation

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu has said that they were working with the support of Türkiye to diversify tourism in the country.

He said that steps have already been taken to develop high value added alternative tourism such as health tourism.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu received the head of the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB) who is also the head of Health Tourism division Zeynep Hale and her accompanying delegation.

Speaking during the visit, Hale said that the aim of their efforts was to obtain results from the cooperation to be carried out between their respective institutions.

Minister Ataoğlu for his part said that they were looking for ways to tap into the health tourism market which had become popular globally.

He also said that they were working with the support of Türkiye to diversify tourism in the country and for creating alternative tourism options for tourists.
