The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is being promoted at the Istanbul Tourism Fair.

During the opening of the fair, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, said that the TRNC has the potential to conduct tourism throughout the year.

Ataoğlu also mentioned that they are actively working to diversify tourism in the TRNC.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is participating in the annual Istanbul Tourism Fair, along with the Travel Agents Association, Hoteliers Association, Guides Association, and representatives of five hotels.

Speaking at the opening of the fair, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu said that despite the unjust and inhumane isolations, the TRNC was a country that had the potential for tourism year-round.

“To further develop the tourism sector, which is the locomotive sector of the TRNC economy, we are taking concrete steps, making necessary regulations, and working tirelessly to host our brothers and sisters from the Republic of Türkiye, who are undoubtedly the largest market for TRNC tourism, in the best possible way,” Ataoğlu said.
