The Türkevi (Turkish House) building, where Türkiye’s Permanent Representation to the United Nations, the Consulate General of New York and the TRNC New York Representative Office are located, was attacked.

In the attack, the windows on the lower floor of the building were broken by an unidentified person.

In a written statement, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu condemned the attack.

In a written statement, Ertuğruloğlu said, “I strongly condemn the vile attack on the Türkevi building (Turkish House) and convey our best wishes. The US must identify the perpetrators of the attack and bring them to justice as soon as possible.”
