Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu issued a message to mark the 106th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence.

In his message to mark the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu said that he was honoured to share with you the pride and happiness of celebrating the 106th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s independence.

He commemorated the heroes who lost their lives in Azerbaijan’s struggle for independence and paid his respects.

“Azerbaijan is a nation that has fought hard for its independence and freedom throughout history. The independence of Azerbaijan is the common pride not only of your country but also of the entire Turkic world. The achievements of Azerbaijan in the economic, social and cultural fields are also a source of inspiration for us” wrote Ataoğlu.

“As the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), I would like to emphasize that we always stand by Azerbaijan and our brotherly ties will continue to strengthen. Our history, culture and values bind us together and further strengthen our solidarity. On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate the Independence Day of Azerbaijan and wish the people of Azerbaijan a future full of peace, tranquillity and prosperity. I believe that the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will last forever” wrote Ataoğlu.
