The government on Thursday approved a decision to replace Prof. Dr. İbrahim Benter as the head of the Vakıflar Administration.

He has been replaced by Prof. Dr Mustafa Tümer.

The decision came into effect yesterday evening after being published in the Official Gazette.

Benter had been serving as head of the Vakıflar Administration since May 2023.

His replacement Mustafa Tümer was serving as Vice-Rector at the Eastern Mediterranean University
