The Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Craftsmen and Artisans, alongside the Gazimağusa Municipality, announced the upcoming “Book and Local Production Festival” during a press conference on Tuesday.
Hürrem Tulga, Coordinator of the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Craftsmen and Artisans, highlighted the importance of the festival for their organization. He mentioned that their partnership with Gazimağusa Municipality began a year ago with an apprenticeship school project, and the festival had required approximately four months of preparation.

Gazimağusa Mayor Süleyman Uluçay emphasized the significance of Gazimağusa as the second-largest city in the country and noted that the festival aims to connect the public with local production. Uluçay also expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration with the Chamber of Craftsmen and Artisans, particularly in the apprenticeship school project.
The festival will feature book signings by Cypriot authors, tasting booths for local products, and sales stands, providing a vibrant platform for local culture and production.
