President Ersin Tatar issued a message to mark the October 1-31 Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In his message to mark October 1-31 Breast Cancer Awareness Month President Ersin Tatar reminded that every year in October, millions of people around the world come together to raise awareness about breast cancer adding that breast cancer can be largely controlled with early diagnosis and treatment.
Inviting all women to regular health check-ups and self-examination, President Tatar said “protecting our health means that not only individuals, but also our families and society remain strong”.
“Every step towards protecting our lives and loved ones is valuable. Let us not forget that early diagnosis saves lives. On this occasion, I wish patience, strength and health to all our women and their loved ones who are struggling with breast cancer, and I commemorate with mercy all the citizens we lost in the fight against the disease” said Tatar.
