The Director of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) Meryem Özkurt also issued a written message congratulating its sister corporation, the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) which is celebrating its 59^th anniversary of establishment.

In her message congratulating Türkiye’s public broadcaster, the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) on its 59^th anniversary, the Director of Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) Meryem Özkurt said, “I congratulate the 59^th anniversary of the establishment of the TRT, which has always stood by the Bayrak Radio Television Corporation,” Özkurt said.

“Today, while the importance of accurate reporting grows by the day, the value of public service broadcasting is increasing at the same rate. Continuing its broadcasts for 59 years with a motto of “human in essence”, TRT is also a major institution that makes significant contributions to the media sector, acting as a pioneer for private broadcasting in Türkiye,” the BRTK Director said.
