Bayrak Radio Television Corporation Director Meryem Özkurt has sent a congratulatory message to Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) Director Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zahid Sobacı to mark the 60th anniversary of the TRT’s establishment.

Özkurt highlighted that BRT has always regarded TRT as a model in public broadcasting.

In her message BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt noted that TRT, as the first and only public broadcaster in Türkiye, sets an example for BRT in terms of transferring national values to future generations, upholding public order and interest, and producing informative, educational, and entertaining content from reliable sources.

Özkurt also stated that BRT’s formation was completed with the support of TRT and that they have further developed through grants, technical support, and personnel training provided by TRT.

She expressed her sincere congratulations to TRT and its dedicated staff on this milestone anniversary.
