Bayrak Radio Television Corporation Director (BRT) Meryem Özkurt congratulated Azerbaijan’s press day, which marks the day Azerbaijan realized its first radio broadcast.

Azerbaijan’s first radio broadcast on November 6, 1997 is being celebrated.

Director of BRTK Meyrem Özkurt, on behalf of all BRTK employees congratulated Azerbaijan’s press day and emphasized that the two peoples speak different dialects of the same language.

Özkurt conveyed her respect to the press workers in Azerbaijan.

The congratulatory message issued by BRTK Director Özkurt was also broadcast on Az TV, the first television and radio channel of Azerbaijan.
