Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) is renewing its current digital-terrestrial broadcasting system with the aim of upgrading its infrastructure.

Within the framework of efforts, the Director of BRTK Meryem Özkurt and an accompanying delegation of experts from the corporation are visiting the Plisch Company in Germany.

BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt and a group of technicians from the corporation are in the German city of Viernheim to inspect the manufacturing process of digital broadcasting systems.

The corporation is renewing its current system in line with its responsibilities as a public broadcaster.

The tender was won by the PALS electronics firm.

The project is part of the Digital-Terrestrial Broadcasting System being carried out in cooperation with the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BHTK) and the European Union (EU).

The Plisch Company located in Viernheim has begun testing and training for the transmitter and head-end systems.
