The budget marathon at the Legislative Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus ends today.

The debate on the 2023 Fiscal Year Budget will come to an end with discussions on the budget of the Ministry of Finance.

Five more annual budgets, that of the Police General Directorate, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Public Service Commission and the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources were approved by parliament on Thursday following an item-by-item discussion.

All five budgets passed with a majority vote following separate debates and questioning from opposition MPs.
