The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said that the absence of a permanent solution to the Cyprus Problem is always a source of tension on the island and in he region.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu came together with a group of Turkish journalists at Türkevi in New York on the sidelines of March 30 International Zero Waste Day Special Session at the United Nations.
Touching upon the Cyprus issue during which Türkiye’s foreign policy issues were discussed, the Turkish Foreign Minister drew attention to the problem of equitable sharing of hydrocarbon riches around the island within the scope of the Cyprus issue.
Çavuşoğlu said that the absence of a permanent solution to the Cyprus Problem was always a source of tension.
